Work Space Goals

Your Work Space: The place where you spend most of your life, it contributes to shaping who you are and how you behave on a day to day basis. It needs to allow you to be creative, organised and work efficiently.

Here are our top tips on optimising your work space:

Green Plants

Studies have been carried out proving that introducing green plants into your office or work space increase happiness and productivity, reduces stress levels and improves performance. It helps you or your employees to actively engage with the surroundings as well as it being pleasing on the eye. Why not try investing in a green plant or two.

An ergonomic chair is key. Sitting behind a desk all day isn’t easy, the appropriate chair will give you the support your spine needs to sit up straight and remain in the correct position for the duration. You also need to ensure your equipment is positioned in the right place. Avoid any discomfort and make sure you have the correct set-up.

Light it up

Poor lighting can strain your eyes and cause headaches, drowsiness and you may become less focused on getting your work done efficiently. A work space where there is lots of natural light is ideal, enabling high productivity and performance.

Tidy Desk, Tidy Mind

A cluttered unorganised desk can mean your day starts on a negative note and restricts your ability to focus on getting your tasks done.
This also can set the wrong impression if potential customers are visiting your office or if you are holding staff meetings. Lead by example and keep it clean!

Inject Personality

Allow yourself to release the interior designer within, surround yourself with things that inspire you.  This could range from clean lines and contemporary furniture to splashes of bright colour, inspirational works or patterned furnishings which ever takes your fancy, make your you and inject some personality into your space.

Achieving any of the above will contribute to productivity, why not give it a go!
